The Ibex Rise is the only OSHA compliant device that gives uninterrupted lateral mobility. The Ibex Rise was beta tested by a private company for more than three years as the designs have changed and improved. From dozens of OSHA inspections, they have received a total of ZERO fines from their use of the Ibex Rise.
Speed
The Ibex Rise can increase efficiency by over 60% when used correctly. The problem with a rope drop is that it cannot be moved. a lot of time is wasted by needing to go through elevators and repositioning drops. The Ibex Rise allows workers to work across the face of the building, instead of just a narrow channel. When it comes to self rescue operations, having an Ibex Rise on standby allows the user to quickly attach themselves to the rope via a harness, and then transition off the failed equipment. Users can even move away on the side the Ibex Rise is on in case of an unexpected hazard.
